marble arch caves

They are one of the finest show caves on offer and the Marble Arches many awards including Northern Ireland Visitor Attraction of the Year 2006 substantiates this.

It allows visitors to explore an underworld of rivers and waterfalls amongst a variety of cave formations, tracing the steps of the first explorer Édouard-Alfred Martel in 1895. The guided tour, lasting 75 minutes, includes a boat trip along the Cladagh River, lets the visitor come face to face with stalactites and stalagmites, impeding from calcite-coated walls.

After visiting the caves a trip to the blanket bog of Cuilcagh Mountain Park is worth a visit.
