Places to visit

ulster american folk park
This exceptional outdoor museum traces Ulster emigration to America during the 18th and 19th centuries. The old World and New World layout shows emigrant life from both sides of the Atlantic.
Traditional thatched buildings, American log houses and farms can be viewed as well as a replica migrant ship. Replica towns can be found with traditional shops such as a printers, post office, general store and pharmacy. Costumed demonstrators bring the story alive, providing a "living history" of the site.
The Centre for Migration Studies is located at the site, which is an excellent resource for those wishing to find out more about emigration history and the way of life of settlers and emigrants.
